Aqua Loca sits on the sand at Agios Vasilios, on Aegina's west coast — a beach islanders have been driving down to for generations, run by two people who are on it every single day.
Our story
Tropical habits, Greek beach
We wanted the easy part of the tropics — palm trees surrounding the place, straw umbrellas, cocktails and chill music that never asks anything of you — without leaving the Saronic Gulf. The island supplies the rest: the sand, the light, the pistachios, the neighbours who tell us when the sea will be flat.
George and Anna are both behind the bar, every day. Everything here is built to be sat in for a whole day, dog included. That's the entire business plan.

Agios Vasilios beach, Aegina
A five-minute drive from Aegina port — follow the coast road south and you'll see us from the car, right on the sand. A sandy beach directly below the road, in the Agios Vasilios area.

Ferry from Piraeus — about 40 min by high-speed, 1 h 10 conventional.
From Aegina port
About 5 min by car, taxi or scooter along the west coast road towards Marathonas & Perdika. The Perdika bus stops nearby.
Parking
Parking won't be an issue, as there is a huge area by the beach, fit for parking, no matter how crowded the beach is.

Confirmed open for the 2026 season. Hours move with the weather and the light — the current ones are always on Instagram. Out of season, the beach is still there.
