Who you're dealing with

This website belongs to Aqua Loca beach bar, Agios Vasilios beach, Aegina 180 10, Greece, run by its owners, George and Anna. Using the site means you're happy with what's on this page. Reach us by direct message on Instagram or at the bar.

What the information here means

We write this site ourselves and keep it honest, but a beach bar is a moving target. Opening hours, the season, what's behind the bar, prices for sunbeds and umbrellas, and what's on the music can all change — sometimes on the day, because of weather. Nothing on this site is a binding offer or a reservation. If your plan depends on a detail, check with us first: our Instagram is the most current thing we keep.

The site's content

The text, photographs, video and design here are ours (or licensed to us) and are protected by copyright. You're welcome to link to any page, share it, or quote a line or two with a credit. Please don't republish whole pages, re-use our photographs or video commercially, or pass our words off as someone else's without asking — ask, and we'll usually say yes.

Guest reviews

The reviews page reproduces reviews guests published on our public Google listing, unedited and with the names they chose there. They're their authors' opinions, not ours, and they stay their authors' property. We don't pay for reviews and we don't write them.

Links to other places

Where we link out — Google Maps, Instagram, ferry information — we don't run those services and can't answer for what they show, charge, or do with your data. Their terms apply once you leave.

On the beach

• The sea is the sea. Swimming is at your own risk; there is no lifeguard, and children are their grown-ups' responsibility at all times.
• Dogs are genuinely welcome — under control, and cleaned up after.
• Sunbeds and umbrellas are first come, first served, and hired for the day. Please don't move or reserve them for people who haven't arrived yet.
• Keep your things with you. We can't take responsibility for belongings left on a sunbed while you swim.
• We serve alcohol under Greek law and won't serve anyone under 18, or anyone who's had plenty.
• It's a quiet beach by design. If you're asked to bring the volume down, please do.
• We may ask anyone spoiling the day for other guests to leave.

Availability of the site

We'd like the site to be up all the time, but we don't promise it. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of something at our hosting provider, and we're not liable for anything that follows from that.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this website — a wasted trip because hours had changed, for instance. Nothing here limits any right you have as a consumer under Greek or EU law, or our liability for death, personal injury or fraud where the law doesn't permit it to be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Greek law, and the courts of Greece have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes

We update this page when the site or the house rules change; the date at the top always says when.
